Release From Liability

In consideration of the risks of injury involved while participating in the Build Like A Girl Event (the “Event”), and in consideration for the right to participate in the Event, I hereby, for myself and my dependent listed below, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability and hereby completely waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my dependent’s participation in the Event, and do hereby fully release and forever discharge Miron Construction Co., Inc., and its employees, affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs and representatives (collectively, “Miron”) from and against any and all liability resulting from any injuries and damages resulting from my dependent’s participation in the Event.

I understand and agree that:

Dependent Name

will be entering an active construction site and will be voluntarily participating in the Event. I understand that the Event consists of my dependent performing construction activities, and that there are inherent hazards and risks present while performing construction activities, and while on all construction sites, regardless of any efforts by Miron to mitigate or eliminate those risks. As such, I have advised my dependent to follow all site safety requirements and to immediately cease the activities and/or leave the premises, without question, should Miron so request. I have clearly explained the risks associated with the Event to my participating dependent, and my dependent has agreed to comply with all rules and requirements, as evidenced by her signature below.

Further, I agree to hold Miron harmless from and against any and all damages and losses, including but not limited to bodily injury (including death) to my participating dependent, or damage to my property, her property, or any other property in her possession, whether caused in whole or in part by any actions or inactions of Miron or any of their subcontractors or its agents. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Miron from and against any and all actual, alleged, or threatened claims, causes of action, demands, damages, fines, judgments, liabilities, losses, penalties, and costs and expenses, including, but not limited to, actual attorney’s fees, arising from my dependent’s participation in the Event.
